THE FINAL SONGS OF THE NIGHT
Many couples think about choosing one final song to end the evening.
I often recommend something a little more fun: a three-song finale.
Ending the night with three great songs allows the energy to build one last time and gives everyone a chance to celebrate together before the lights come up. With three songs, you can create a small arc that keeps the dance floor full right to the end.
A simple game plan
1. Bring everyone back to the dance floor
Start with something recognizable that pulls the whole room together and gets everyone back onto the floor for one last round.
2. A fun wildcard
The middle song is a great place to include something personal to you — maybe a newer track you love, a fun throwback, or something a little unexpected.
3. End with the grand finale
The final song should be an undeniable crowd favorite — the kind of song that brings everyone together for one last big moment before the night ends.
The final song is often the moment when everyone gathers around the couple one last time — arms around friends, voices loud, and the entire room celebrating together.
If you're not sure what songs would work best here, don’t worry — this is one of the things I help couples with all the time.
