All of your friends and family are seated, the room is buzzing, and the celebration is about to begin. When done right, this moment sets the tone for the entire night.

A few things to consider:

  1. Modern grand entrance creates the most energy
    Traditionally, wedding parties were introduced in pairs one by one. Today, most couples choose a more modern approach that keeps the energy high.

    The two options that tend to work best are:

    • Just the Bride and Groom
    • Entire wedding party enters together

    Bringing the full wedding party in at once often creates a huge moment and keeps the momentum strong.

  2. One great song works best

    It can be tempting to use different songs for different groups, but in most cases this actually slows things down.

    Using a single high-energy song allows the excitement to build naturally and keeps the room moving toward your entrance.

  3. You can even skip the music
    If you choose to enter without a wedding party, one of my favorite options is what I call an Acappella Entrance.

    The room quiets…
    your names are announced…
    and the cheers from your friends and family become the soundtrack to your arrival.

    It’s simple, authentic, and incredibly powerful.

  4. Most important: do what feels like you
    There’s no rule that says your entrance has to follow tradition. The best receptions are the ones that reflect your personalities and your people.
