DINNER

Dinner is one of the few moments of the evening when the music should support the atmosphere rather than dominate it. The goal is to create a warm, elegant backdrop where guests can relax, talk, and enjoy their meal.

There are a few different directions we can take depending on the vibe you’d like to create.

  1. Instrumental / Elegant

Instrumental music is often the most elegant option for dinner. Light jazz, piano, acoustic covers, and similar styles create a sophisticated atmosphere while still allowing guests to comfortably talk at their tables.

In venues with lively acoustics or lots of hard surfaces, instrumental music is often the best choice because it keeps the room feeling calm and balanced.

  2. Personalized selections from the couple

Dinner can also be a great opportunity to play songs that are meaningful to you as a couple. Some couples share a playlist of favorites that help set a relaxed and personal tone for the evening.

If you have particular artists, genres, or songs you’d love to hear during dinner, feel free to share them and I’ll weave them naturally into the playlist.

  3. Dinner Bangers
(My personal favorite if the crowd’s feeling it)

Sometimes the energy in the room is already high, and dinner is the perfect time for what I like to call “dinner bangers.”
These aren’t full dance floor tracks yet — but recognizable, feel-good songs that get people smiling, tapping their feet, and occasionally singing along at their tables. It keeps the room lively while everyone eats and often sets the stage for a packed dance floor later in the night.
